The History of Satchi Mills

The idea that inspired Satchi Mills grew purely out of a love for quality items. After spending summers scouring estate sales and second-hand shops all over New England with my mother, on the hunt for hidden treasures, I discovered a passion for finding high-end items that needed new homes. 

After amassing a carefully curated collection of these wonderful goods picked with care, a keen eye for the unique and originally crafted, as well as out of a genuine love for each and every item, I began to run low on space in which to house to all! Courtesy of Satchi Mills, I have found the perfect avenue through which to share these lovely refurbished, rehabbed and renewed items. I'm hoping that each piece can find it's way into a new, loving home where it can be cherished for many more years to come.

As each piece (unless otherwise stated) is secondhand and unique there may be varying degrees of having been "well-loved" and may show slight signs of aging or expected wear-and-tear but these small indicators should be rightfully regarded as added value and character rather than as potential detractors, highlighting their ability to stand the test of time. Also, this means that each piece will only be available in single quantity in the size, shape, etc. outlined in it's respective item description.

Lastly, the name Satchi Mills comes from the amalgamation of my mother's and my own maiden names and a tip-of-the-hat to the town in which we have lived and loved for many years, known historically for it's manufacturing mills.
